Як на ті чорнобривці погляну,
Бачу матір стареньку,

Я розлуки та зустрічі знаю,
Бачила у чужій стороні
Чорнобривці із рідного краю,
Що насіяла ти навесні.
Прилітають до нашого поля
Із далеких країв журавлі,
Розцвітають і квіти, і доля
