Lyrics
Que saudade do meu tempo de criana,
quando eu ainda era pura esperana,
eu via minha me voltando pra dentro do nosso barraco,
Eu achava engraado tudo aquilo,
santo gosta.
Ento eu preparava pra seguir o meu caminho,
protegido por meus ancestrais.
Antigamente o Samba-Rock, Black Power, Soul,
me lembro muito bem do som e o passinho marcado
eram mostrados por quem entende do assunto,
e l estavam Nino Brown e Nelson Triunfo,
Tony Tornado respondia: Pode Cr,
Lady Zu avisava, a noite vai chegar,
e com Tot inventou o samba soul,
Jorge Ben entregava com Cosa Nostra,
e ainda tinha o toque dos Originais,
falador passa mal rapaz,
saldosa maloca, maloca querida,
Grandes festas no Palmeiras como a Chic Show,
Zimbabwe e Black Mad eram Company Soul,
anos 80 comecei, a freqentar alguns bailes,
ouvia comentrios de lugares.
Clube da cidade, Guilherme Jorge,
Clube Homes, Roller Super Star,
O tempo foi passando, eu me adaptando,
aprendendo novas grias, me malandreando,
tirava couro do banco do buzo,
uma tremenda curtio,
e fazia na cala a famosa pizza.
No centro da cidade as grandes galerias,
seus cabelereiros e lojas de disco,
mantm a nossa tradio sempre viva.
Mudaram as msicas, mudaram as roupas,
Luiz Carlos, frica So Paulo, Ademir Frmula 1,
Kaskata’s, Circuit Power.
Bossa 1, Super Som 2000, Transa Funk, Princesa Negra,
Cash Box, Musicalia, Galote, Black Music
Alcir Black Power, e a tantos outros,
obrigado pela inspirao.
Pode cr, pode cr.
Lyrics translation
What a longing for my time as a child,
when I was still pure hope,
I saw mine turning into our shack,
with a saint's outfit under his arm.
I thought it was funny.,
but j respected the noise of the Atabak,
and I don't know if you know,
the powerful outside that has in the hand of those who play a whimsical touch,
santo likes it.
Then I prepared to go my way,
protected by my ancestors.
Formerly Samba-Rock, Black Power, Soul,
just like Hip-Hop was our sound,
the black fuck that rolled the cookies,
the curtio do pedao was La Croachia,
I was small and j would film the movement around me,
choriographies, knew by heart,
and I grew up surrounded by Afro-Brazilian culture,
I also know that I did a lot of bullshit,
but I never shut myself off from my races,
I'm always with the blacks that still exist,
I remember very well the sound and the little step marked
they were shown by those who understand the subject,
and l were Nino Brown and Nelson triumph,
together with funkcia what a wonder.
What a good weather, that never comes back,
what a good weather, that never comes back.
What a good weather, that never comes back,
what a good weather, that never comes back.
Shut up bell mouth, black hair of the hour,
shoe was moccasin or platform heel.
Gerson Quincombo would send messages to his,
Toni Bizarro said with reason, go with God,
Tim Maia said that s wanted chocolate,
Tony Tornado replied: Can Cr,
Lady Zu warned, the night will come,
and with Tot invented samba soul,
Jorge Ben delivered with Cosa Nostra,
and still had the Touch Of The Originals,
talkative passes bad boy,
saldosa maloca, maloca dear,
it is part of the sad and Happy Days of our life.
Great parties at the palm trees like The Chic Show,
Zimbabwe and Black Mad were Company Soul,
80s I started, to freqentar some dances,
I heard comments from places.
City Club, Guilherme Jorge,
Club Homes, Roller Super Star,
Jabaquarina, Sasqachi, how good to remember.
I thank God for allowing,
that in the 70s I could watch, Vila Sezamo,
in a dcada full of emoo,
Hooligueler warping forks on TV,
10 years of swing and magic,
who ate with Brazil being Tri-Campeo.
Time has passed, I adapting,
learning new cries, scowling me,
observing the radical evolution of my irmos,
I realized the right we have as citizens,
to give importance to the situation,
protesting that we found a solution.
So Black Power stays alive,
s that in a much more offensive way,
whether it's darn break, or a DJ at stratch,
even doing Graffiti, or singing RAP.
Remember the Funo, that with gilette in his pocket,
he took leather from the diver's seat,
a tremendous curtio,
and he made the famous pizza in the cove.
In the center of the city the great galleries,
your hairdressers and disc stores,
keep our tradio alive.
They changed their clothes, they changed their clothes.,
but the afro youth remains very crazy.
I talked about the past and as if it were not,
what I see the same determination in Hip-Hop
Today's Black Power.
This our tribute, to all those,
who were part of or enjoyed Black Power.
Luiz Carlos, frica So Paulo, Ademir Frmula 1,
Kaskata's, Circuit Power.
Bossa 1, Super Sound 2000, Fuck Funk, Black Princess,
Cash Box, Musicalia, Galote, Black Music
Alcir Black Power, and so many others,
thanks for the inspiration.
Can cr, can cr.
