Mit letzter Kraft gingen Maria und Josef zu dem
kleinen Stall und wurden von den Tieren herzlich
begrüßt. Da waren ein Ochse, eine Kuh, vier Ziegen
und drei Schafe. Sie strahlten so viel Wärme aus,
daß niemand frieren musst, und Maria und Josef
hatten endlich einen Platz zum Ausruhen gefunden.
Die Sterne funkelten so hell wie nie zuvor, und
der allergrößte leuchtete durch einen Dachspalt
direkt auf Maria herunter. Sie hatte gerade ihr
Kind geboren. Die Engel sangen ein liebliches
Wiegenlied, ganz leise, und wunderschön.

With the utmost strength Mary and Joseph went to the
small stable and were warmly welcomed by the animals
broadly welcomed. There was an ox, a cow, four goats
and three sheep. They radiated so much heat ,
that no one must freeze, and Mary and Joseph
had finally found a place to Rest.
The stars sparkled as brightly as never before, and
the largest glowed through a roof gap
straight down to Maria. She just had her
Child born. The angels sang a lovely
Lullaby, very quiet, and beautiful.
