Periodista y autor teatral. Nació en Buenos Aires el 3 de marzo de 1898 y allí
falleció el 24 de abril de 1947.
Con Delfy escribió el tango «¡Araca, la cana!"para la primera película exitosa
del cine argentino hablado, „Los Tres Berretines“, que produjo el sello „Lumiton"Este tango tuvo enorme suceso y fue grabado por Carlos Gardel.

Pianista, compositor, actor y humorista. (15 de noviembre de 1895 — 10 de enero
de 1967). Nació en Buenos Aires a fines de siglo y su primera infancia la pasó
en los pasillos del teatro „Politeama“, en la esquina de la avenida Corrientes
y Paraná. Sus padres eran propietarios de la confitería del teatro.
Lo enviaron a estudiar a un instituto musical de la ciudad de Turín, Italia.
Fue un músico de escuela. Gardel le grabó 26 temas, de los que destacamos:“

„Dicen que dicen (Alberto Ballesteros),"Estampilla"(Manuel Romero),“

Con el acompañamiento de los guitarristas: Horacio Pettorossi, talentoso
guitarrista y compositor a quien Gardel había conocido diecisiete años antes
cuando la producción de Juan Moreira realizada por Alippi-González en 1915.
Desde entonces había llevado una vida aventurera y errabunda, trabajando en
París y Barcelona, y también en lugares más exóticos. Encabezando su propia
orquesta, se había convertido en «el principal difusor del tango en Rumania,
Grecia y Turquía, quien en 1932 en París, intervino como ejecutante y actor en
las películas «Espérame"y «Melodía de arrabal"junto a Gardel. Regresó a Buenos
Aires y acompañó a Gardel hasta julio de 1934 cuando tuvo que regresar por no
poder actuar allí. Desiderio Barbieri, la «segunda guitarra», el «Negro»
Barbieri era el más antiguo guitarrista cuando se produjo el accidente en
Medellín (donde murió). Se había incorporado en 1921, Gardel lo llamaba «el Barba», Ángel Domingo Riverol, quien habría de morir en Medellín,
dos días después del accidente aérea donde pereció Gardel, y que fue el que
reemplazó a José Ricardo y Domingo Julio Vivas quien fue integrado al cuadro de
guitarristas acompañantes del cantor en 1931, por sugerencia de Guillermo
Barbieri, hasta fines de 1933.
