Lyrics
Saapui hän keskelle hävityksen
kylään ammoin niin rauhaisaan.
Katot hehkuivat väreissäliekkien
ja veri rakkaiden peitti maan.
Vihan nostatti ja kiiri taivaisiin.
Niin moni lieni jo tiellätuonelaan
vaan he viel' ei veisi häntämukanaan.
Vaik' joukkonsa hän kokosi liki lyödyistä,
yksin raivonsa vavahdutti julmaa vastusta.
Kai satakunta ruumista hän polki allensa,
armoa ken sai kohtas' vain kirveen kaulalla.
«Miekanterät vapauttakaa,
kostuttakaa kylmäärautaa!
Suokaa heille vihastanne,
hukuttakaa hurmeen virtaan!»
«Kilpien taa piiloutukaa,
pelkurit jo perääntykää!
Ohitsemme jos mielitte
viimeinenkin hautaan saattakaa!»
Harvatpa kertomaan säästyivät,
siksi veri yltyi virtaamaan.
Niin vain aika koitti myös sankarin
kirjailtu miekka kourassaan
(vaan mies taipumaton veljet rinnallaan
tarustoissa elääainiaan).
Amongst such ravage he arrived,
to a village once so calm.
Rooftops glowing the colours of flame
and the blood of the beloved on the ground.
Such anger did it raise to echo through all skies.
To beyond so many may have travelled
but not yet they were to take him along.
'though gathering his forces from those nearly defeated,
alone it was his rage that shook the cruel enemy.
Hundreds of corpses he tr&led underfoot,
his axe on their necks as a display of mercy.
«Blades of your swords shall be set free,
iron so cold shall now redden!
Grant them a glimpse of your hatred,
drown them into the streams of gore!»
«Behind your shields you shall now hide,
all you cowards better flee!
Should you past us desire to walk,
our last man standing you must strike to the ground!»
Very few were spared to tell this story,
so immensely the blood took to flowing.
And so the time of the warrior did come
with an embroided blade in its hand
(but a man unyielding with his brothers by his side
as a legend he lives forever).
Lyrics translation
Arrived in the middle of the devastation
in the village, I was so calm.
Roofs glowed with ripples of flame
and the blood of loved ones covered the Earth.
Hate was raised and rushed to heaven.
So many people were already on the way to the House.
but they wouldn't take him to the muck.
But he gathered his troops from the near-defeated.,
alone, his rage shook the cruel resistance.
I guess there were 100 bodies he was trampling under.,
mercy ken got' just an axe around his neck.
"Sword blades free,
moisten the village iron!
Grant them your anger,
drown the Rapture!»
"Hide behind the shields,
cowards already back off!
We'll pass you if you like
the last grave you can get!»
Few people told me they were spared.,
that's why the blood was flowing.
So only time came for a hero
embroidered sword in hand
(but a man unyielding brothers by his side
in the lore of living).
Amongst such ravage he arrived,
to a village once so calm.
Rooftops glowing the colors of flame
and the blood of the belted on the ground.
Such anger did it raise to echo through all skies.
To beyond so many may have travelled
but not yes they were to take him along.
'because gathering his forces from those near defected,
alone it was his rage that shook the cruel enemy.
Hundreds of corps he tr&led underfoot,
his axe on their necks as a display of mercy.
"Blades of your swords shall be set free,
iron so cold shall now redden!
Grant them a glimmse of your hatred,
drop them into the streams of gore!»
"Behind your shields you shall now hide,
all you cows better fleet!
Should you past us desire to walk,
our last man standing you must strike to the ground!»
Very soon we sparred to tell this story,
so immensely the blood took to flow.
And so the time of the warrior did come
with an embossed blade in its hand
(but a man unyielding with his brothers by his side
as a legend he lives forever).
