The page contains the lyrics and English translation of the song "Durazno Sangrando" by Luis Alberto Spinetta.

Lyrics

«Quien canta es tu carozo, pues tu cuerpo al fin tiene un alma;
y si tu ser estalla sera un corazon el que sangre;

Lyrics translation

Early the peach tree fell,
his skin was pink, golden from the sun
and seeing in the fate of all fruit
to the Bank of a river his faith brought him.
They say that in this valley
peaches are the goblins.
I spend some time in the same place,
until one good day he began to listen
a very sad melody from the South
that so I cried to him, from within:
"The one who sings is your lump, for your body at last has a soul;
and if your being explodes it will be a heart that bleeds;
and the song you hear your body will open with Dawn."
The January breeze to the shore arrived,
the night of time his hours were fulfilled
and when Dawn came, the lump sang,
departing to the Peach, which to the river fell.
And the Peach split
he's already bleeding under the water.
